Maxine Coleman is a retired executive from the confectionary giant Mars, Incorporated, where she served as VP of Personnel & Organization with M&M/Mars. Prior to M&M, she served as VP for two other Mars, Inc. businesses Kal Kan Foods, Inc. and Mars Electronics. In addition, she has worked as an external consultant on organization development, career development, and training issues. Maxine’s impressive resume has led to invitations to conduct seminars and lectors across the nation, including twenty-plus years at Historically Black Universities and College as a visiting professor. She continues to share her expertise with her community today as Secretary on the board of directors for both the Leadership Education & Development (LEAD) Program and Salba, Inc. Her impact has earned her numerous awards including Who’s Who of American Women, The World’s Who’s Who of Women, and a recent nomination to the National Black College Hall of Fame.
