Tom Argue is the CEO and Administrator of Webster at Rye and has overseen its growth and development since opening in 1986, including expanding the continuum of care from Long-Term Care and Independent Living to include Skilled Rehabilitation, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Throughout his career, Tom has shown a passion for improving the long-term health care industry in New Hampshire. He has served as Chairman of the New Hampshire Health Care Association, the New Hampshire Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators, and LeadingAge Maine & New Hampshire. He has also chaired the National Board of Long-Term Care Administrators Examination Committee and has served as an Officer of the National Board of Long-Term Care Administrators. Prior to joining Webster at Rye, Tom served as the Administrator for the Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He is a private pilot and also enjoys fishing, hiking, photography and golf.
Todd Fernald began working at Webster at Rye when he was just 17 years old for what he thought was only a summer job and now, over 30 years later, he finds himself second in command of the organization. Todd has worked in numerous positions throughout his tenure, including everything from dietary aide to social services assistant. Todd was promoted to the position of Human Resources Director in 2005 and added the role of Administrator of the Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in 2017. Todd has additionally achieved recognized double national certification in Human Resources including designation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institution and as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management. He is the current President of the Seacoast Human Resources Association, also serving as a member of the HR State Council of New Hampshire. Additionally, Todd holds state licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in New Hampshire and has served as the Assistant Administrator for the Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility since 2018. When not at his desk, Todd can be found actively pursuing his other passion – a love for the theater – performing on numerous stages throughout New England.
